Making Memories

What could be more romantic than setting out on a horse-drawn sleigh with your loved ones? Wrapped in warm blankets and furs, you glide through the winter wonderland – hearing nothing but the jingling sleigh bells and the crunching of the snow. A ride on a horse-drawn sleigh takes around 3 hours, and can be booked for any time of day. A very special outing!

Ready, steady, go!

For a little more speed and action, try the Heiligenblut toboggan run, located just 500 metres from the village centre. After an easy walk up to the start, you are rewarded with a 1.1 km long toboggan run with different sections and plenty of exhilarating bends. A night-time adventure on the illuminated run is especially exciting.

Holidays on ice

Calling all ice princesses and ice-hockey aficionados! Situated right next to the Ponnwald toboggan run in the lower part of Heiligenblut (known as ‘Winkl’) is the village ice-skating rink. Take your time getting your skates on and off in the comfortably heated changing room, without having to worry about freezing fingers and toes. In fact, you can take your time for just about anything – enjoy the feeling of being in no rush at all.
