National Park Region Hohe Tauern

There is a lot to discover in the Hohe Tauern National Park region, part of the largest protected area in the Alps

The Hohe Tauern National Park is the largest protected area in the Alps and the oldest national park in Austria. In 1971, a three-country agreement was reached between Salzburg, Carinthia and East Tyrol and the Hohe Tauern National Park was founded.
